Michael Jackson, portrait

This is the second attempt at a pencil portrait of Michael. The first was a good likeness but I'd not placed him correctly. This one is much better.

I've been a bit distracted the last few days, I'm doing a Christmas craft fair later on today. Generally selling any artwork I can, but I'm also going to try some live caricaturing again. I'm not sure how it will go, but I won't know until I've tried, will I? So, I must off and carry on preparing.

Michael Jackson - moonwalking

I decided to have another go at Michael. I was quite happy until I did the shading. I'm not sure it's working but I think I'll put it down until the morning. I'm posting the picture, so far, for an image - I hate not posting an image. So here's Michael in moonwalk pose. It's hard to convey moonwalking in a still! I may tweak the picture and repost tomorrow if I'm still not happy with it.

Michael Jackson, Bad!

This is my drawing of Michael. Not really happy with he likeness, face is too long. Really happy with the hair. Skin tones are OK and happy with the body, not the ankles...Oh I've missed off his feet! Whoops! Picture is a bit rubbish but done under artificial light at night and I'm tired. Colours? I was going for the 70's feel!

Might redo it or attempt something different. I couldn't bring myself to do an older Michael. He was already a caricature in later years.
